After 14 years of serving the Harrisonburg community, owner Misty Ward achieved her dream of creating a custom-built home for Brookhaven and our families. Completed in Fall 2024, our facility includes:
Two luxurious, homelike birth suites complete with a birthing tub, shower, bathroom and private patio area
Private offices available for rent by the hour or day, perfect for providers such as massage therapists, nutritionists, or other health and wellness providers
Large classroom space available to rent for community events and gender reveal party packages.
For clients who wish to give birth at our center, we have two homelike birth suites. Each has its own large tub for water birth and / or pain relief during labor, a shower, bathroom, bed, and private fenced patio area. All birth suites are located downstairs, offering privacy and access to the full kitchen available for laboring clients. Ample sitting space is available in the birth suites and downstairs common areas for family and friends attending the birth.
Birth suites are also equipped with birthing balls, birth hammock, wall bars, and other tools for active labor.
Our building has comfortable private offices available for rent by the hour or day, perfect for providers such as massage therapists, nutritionists, or other health and wellness providers seeking a space to meet with their clients.
Private Office/Room Rate:
$1,500 monthly - full time exclusive use.
A tenant renting a private office is also allotted 10 hours per week of classroom use, with additional time negotiable and as schedule permits. Weekend classroom use limited due to community events, but available on a case by case basis.
Shared Office/Room Rate:
This is a shared room with many items provided. Availability is limited and subject to change based on needs of the clinic. Blocked time will be communicated in advance with ~30 days notice when possible. You must return the room to its original layout and provide basic tidying (mop up foot prints, empty trash, etc).
$25 per hour for the first two hours.
$75 for a half day (4-4.5 hours)
$115 for the entire day (8-9 hours)
Shared Office long-term lease is negotiable and would allow for classroom use at a discounted rate from the hourly rates below.
Our birth center features a large classroom space separate from our main office, perfect for private and community events.
Rate for one-off events/classes:
Under 3 hours - $50 first hour, and $25 per hour afterwards.
Over 3 hours - set price of $150 for up to 6 hours.
For long-term lease:
1 full day (8 hours) per week with a six-month minimum lease is $125 per day.
1 half day (4 hours) per week is $75 per day.

Our classroom is available for rent as a gender reveal party venue, with rental packages tailored just for this fun and special purpose! Open to non-Brookhaven clients, with 10% discount for clients in our midwifery care.
Bronze Package ($275):
Set-up and break down must occur during the 4 hours of allotted time. Cleaning deposit required and clean-up is the responsibility of the renter (details provided in rental contract).
Silver Package ($450):
Set-up and break down must occur during the 4-6 hours of allotted time. Cleaning deposit required and clean-up is the responsibility of the renter (details provided in rental contract).
Gold Package ($575):
Set-up and break down must occur during the 6 hours of allotted time. Cleaning deposit required and clean-up is the responsibility of the renter (details provided in rental contract). Cake serves 12-24 guests
Diamond Package ($875):
Deposit for incidentals only. Don’t worry yourself with the details! We have you covered! Choose from our repertoire of themes, show up, and celebrate!
