I’m so excited to continue my midwifery studies with the Brookhaven community! I have a background in special education, doula, and community work. I was called to continue on the path to midwifery because I believe every family deserves compassionate, respectful care and the freedom to make choices about their own bodies and births. I believe in the importance of lifelong learning and will always be excited about learning something new!
I am passionate about providing care that nurtures your autonomy by strengthening your connection to your emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual needs throughout the birth journey. With a deep respect for the legacy of community midwifery and a commitment to inclusive, affirming care, I strive to create safe spaces where every family feels seen and empowered.
Outside of birth work, I enjoy being outdoors, learning all about homesteading, trying new foods, and reading. I still enjoy teaching, especially about informed and embodied consent, and I hope to learn enough to share knowledge about placentas and herbs. These passions help me stay grounded and serve as a reminder to show myself the love and care I hope to impart on others.
